Fall Experiences Not to Miss in Niagara

The new season is here and we are ready to experience all things Fall in Niagara.  If crisp days, sweater weather, and pumpkin spice are the accessories of the season, these are the top experiences to enjoy during a Niagara Falls Autumn Getaway.

Fall Colours

It’s a fact that Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region benefits from being nestled between two great lakes and enjoys Fall’s bountiful seasonal colours longer than other parts of the continent. Head to one of the surrounding parks, including Queen Victoria Park, Oakes Garden or Dufferin Islands which are all within a short distance of our hotel for “leaf-peeping” and see the natural displays in person.

Autumn In The VineyardVineyard

Sounds like a best-selling book or Hallmark Movie, but in Niagara, visiting a vineyard is one of the region’s greatest experiences. From the bench (a stretch of land between the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario) to Niagara on the Lake, a getaway in Niagara puts you in one of Canada’s most celebrated wine communities. The region is home to award winning wineries that create some of the most incredible red and white wines in the world, and is one of the top Icewine producing regions.  Enjoy an afternoon of tours and tastings just a short drive from our hotel.

Outdoor Adventure

Savour every chance to get outdoors and active before winter descends. While in Niagara Falls, one of the most popular areas to visit is the beautiful Niagara River Parkway. Stretching 55km along the Niagara River and passing through incredible towns, villages, and natural areas from Fort Erie to Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The paved trail is ideal for walking and cycling, or a scenic drive. Along the way stop at Queenston Heights for an awe inspiring view that on a clear day can include Toronto in the distance.

Reserve your stay and experience Niagara Falls and all it’s vibrant colours!
