Niagara Falls attracts tourists from around the globe who come to experience one of the world's seven wonders, Niagara Falls. Maid of the Mist
North America's oldest tourist attraction began taking visitors close to the base of Niagara Falls in 1846. Since 1846 the Maid of the Mist has powered millions of guests past the American Falls and brings them to the base of the Horseshoe Falls and back in a half hour trip.
Journey Behind the Falls
Journey Behind the Falls begins at Table Rock Centre where you will be transported by elevator down to two different observation platforms that allow you to stand back and watch as 13 stories of water come crashing down in front of you. There are also a series of tunnels that provide portholes for different views of the Falls. This attraction is open year round.
White Water Walk
The White Water Walk allows visitors to walk alongside the Niagara Gorge, one of the most dangerous stretches of white water in the world. The custom white water board walk keeps you close to the water to allowing you to witness class 6 rapids as they fight to get out of the narrowest section of the Great Gorge.
Whirlpool Aero Car
For a birds eye view of the Niagara River and the Niagara Whirlpool take a trip across the gorge on the Whirlpool Aero Car. The ride takes you from the Canadian side to the American side providing a one of a kind view of the river and surrounding area.
Marineland
Marineland is the largest aquarium and theme park in Niagara; large collection of marine animals reside at Marineland including Bottlenose Dolphins,and Killer whales. Get up close and personal through enclosed underwater viewing areas. Marineland is also home to the world's largest steel rollercoaster! A variety of amusement rides for children and adults are available throughout the park.
The Niagara Floral Clock
Each year the Niagara Parks Commission creates the Floral Clock out of 19,000 indigenous flowers that change depending on the season. The Floral Clock is a prime tourist stop along the Niagara Parkway, its 40-ft. breadth, 250lb. sweep second-hand and English West Minister Chimes are a compliment to its unique face.
Butterfly Conservatory
Explore a year round tropical oasis at the Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory. The conservatory is home to 2000 tropical butterflies that fly freely through a lush garden. After just one visit it will be clear why this has been rated a top tourist pick for the past 10 years.
